I tried to give these guys a chance, but for most of the reasons already stated, this game is as good as dead. Unless they pull something spectacular out of their ass in the next couple of months, they're toast (if they aren't already).

No projected date for VOIP patch, which means it'll be 1-2 months before they even consider implementing it. Not to mention the numerous interface inadequacies and gameplay fixes they need. Either they're giving up or THQ has pulled the pin on the budget in response to underperforming sales.

Even the community forums are a joke now.

In the PC section, you have 38 people viewing "tech issues", while only 8 are viewing "general". That's a clear indicator of the sad state of affairs they're in.

I especially feel for people with limited budgets to spend on gaming, who shelled out for this and ended up wasting their money. Hell, I'm pretty pissed off for myself. I don't feel bad wasting my money on a game I don't like. I didn't like CoD4, but there wasn't anything wrong with the game. I just didn't like it. This game is a rip-off plain and simple.

For you people who can't run it and especially Santa, I'd seriously consider asking for a refund. It doesn't work as advertised and it's defective. You'd have a strong case.

I'd give my $50 to get a tell-all story about what went wrong. I hate being on the outside of these processes and not knowing why this happened and who's to blame. I want to believe that this isn't going to be the norm for PC gaming in the foreseeable future.
