I unhooked everything from the mobo, installed the new heatsink and realized halfway through that it wasnt going to work since i installed it backwards, so i had to reinstall the new heatsink the right way. Being the super genius I am i remembered where everything plugs in and it boots correctly. Havent had time to install windows or anything, but im confident it will all be working fine.
Also, I got the power button to actually be the power button, but the reset button doesnt do anything, probably because i actually gave up on getting one of those connectors attached. Those panel connectors are a BITCH.
