Default Age of Conan Tutorial Videos : WATCH/READ THIS BEFORE YOU PLAY

Interface Tutorial:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbwOhCXN3Uw

Combat Tutorial:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_jrG...eature=related

Additional Notes:

Skills and Attributes
For the Skills and Attributes you have certain skills for your level. Each level you get skill points to distribute, at higher levels you gain more skills. Skills are class dependant. For example: the hiding skill for the Rogue archetype (Assassin, Barbarian, Ranger) is available at level 2 (when you point points into it) where a mage class (Necromancer, Demonologist, Herald of Xotli) gets Hiding as an optional skill at about level 15.

The maximum amount of skill points you can put into a skill also increases as you level, so keep checking as you level up.

Hotbars
You have a selection of 11 hotbars (hotbars that can be used with the 1 to 0 keys on your keyboard, you have more non-referenceable hotbars). You can switch between them by pressing shift+[number] where [number] is 1 to 0 on your keyboard. Note that you may inadvertently switch hotbars when sprinting and tring to attack (sprint by default is shift). There is an option to dsable this in the Interface Options near the bottom.

You can also hold down alt to access the 11th hotbar.

Instance Selection
Almost every area in Age of Conan is instance. To switch instances, click the little arrow in the top right corner next to the Day/Night/Time indicator. When selecting an instance the on with the star is the instance your Group Leader is in. The little head icon is an instance your friend is on (friend on your friend list). There is no way of telling which instance you are in though, your instance will not be on the instance selection list.

Just sort of a tip. You can put markers on your map just by right-clicking on the minimap. This is especially handy for mapping resources etc...

Another tidbit is that different ranks of the same combos are on different cooldown timers. This can come in VERY handy.
