How do I switch instances (why can't me and my friend see each other)?
To switch your instance go to the down arrow on the top right next to your day/night indicator (or time indicator if you are off Tortage).
The instance selection menu will appear. Here you have a choice of all the available instances for your area. This list will not contain your instance and there is no way currently to tell which instance you are in.
To help with this you will see two little icons next to some instance names. If there is a star icon beside the instance then that is the instance with your Group Leader in it. If there is a little person icon, that is an instance where someone on your Friends List is.
