Question Team Speak - Can we create a Level range sub channel for players?

As I write, looking at Party 2 in TS, there are eight members in the channel. I don't know what level characters are being played so I can join. Yes, I could pop into the channel and ask but not everyone responds and it sort of interupts the flow of the game if I have to get the details of who, what, where and when of the party.

To eliminate that problem and make it easier to play with others within the same level range can we do a better job of labeling the TS channels? For example, (Lion and I did this for a bit) I formed a party on TS, the channel, the one I created said:

Age Of Conan/Cimmeria/Lvl 20-25

That way if you got on, saw that you had a character within that range you could hop on without going thru one channel asking everyone if they have a character at that level range they want to play.

You could always certainly ask someone in that TS channel if they wanted to play a higher level character (or lower) but at least it would give you a starting point and easier to get players playing within the same level range.

Any thoughts?

Actually that was the main AoC channel, not Party 2. Most people when soloing stick in main to banter with other players. I could make other channles I guess, but I think people will still tend to sit in the general channel instead of sitting by themselves.

I think this is a really good idea, actually. I know that I just got the game and I have someone who is willing to help me with my play, and we'll both be like Level 5, and I noticed on the guild list we have a lot that are 20+. I like this idea, FK.

I think a system like this is of most benifit when everyone is in the guild. Since we're on a PvP server, guild chat is an easy way of calling for help, getting advice and just keeping in touch with everyone without doing a lot of channel switching when we're in seperate TS channels.

I do agree with Freak in that I think it's a great idea, but I think it should be on the group leader to label their TS channel in this manner. Otherwise, we'll need a hell of a lot of chat rooms to cover level ranges, zones etc.

Make it so!

P.S. I've got an alt in the level 12-15 range, so when you get into that area, give me a shout and I'd be happy to help you out.

Good idea, think ppl should still start out in the lobby and then break off to specific groups when they are leveling. That way if you pop on and see 4 ppl in the 20-25 channel you could pop in there and ask if they have room.

Not sure if we need to region specific though since you can quest in all regions.

Any movement on this?

Specifically, here's what I propose for TS -

1)Create a specific General Chat channel. This is the channel if your goofing around and replaces the over used "Party 1" channel where I still can't figure out what anyone is doing without logging in and which goes back to my original issue.

2)Specific Level channels. Players can play with other players with similar leveling. Easy to find a player.

10-20

20-30

30-40

40-50

50-60

etc....

I'm finding it tough to quest with everyone. We need to find a solution.

I guess I could do this... I think most channels will be empty though.
