Question To continue or not

Well as the title says im debating what I am gonna do with my aoc account. Both Kat and I have a 3 month subscription but after those 3 months I don't think im going ot renew them.

The game is interesting but for me I think its lacking anything to keep me interested. The crafting system is ass and there really isn't much of a pvp system beside being able to attack anyone anywhere.

Couple those two issue with a lack of people to play with and the pretty graphics start to become less colorful.

I find myself playing tf2 pretty much every night and not really wanting to log into aoc.

Anyone else having this sort of a feeling?

Send me all of your golds and silvers

I know what you are speaking of cg.. I rarely see more than one or two other guild members online.

I am going to stick with it though..

We just passed through the week of July 4th, which is a major, although not the only, factor in my lack of play lately. I expect this may be true for others too. RL has a tendency to dampen gaming, and other hobbies, on occasion. There's not enough time in a day.

Yes it does Dug! Unless I'm on vacation or parents are visitin it doesnt damping mine too much. I know I've been playing tf2 for 1-3 hours a night it seems. Maybe if there were more people to play with it would be different or if I was high lvl. Don't really know. Kind of debating also seeing if theres a fairly large guild that we are allies with that would accept a casual player, see if that would help my playability.

I've been kinda busy lately (case in point, 4th of July weekend), but I hear you cg, I'm finding it hard to justify playing this game lately. I still think it's fun, but the lack of Focused people is making grouping a bit of a bitch. I'm not even going to get started on how we expect to do end-game material.

I don't think we expect to. I am up in the air on whether I want to keep playing or not.

After around a full six weeks I'm having a great time playing the game and it's lived up too my expectations. There's plenty to do (my quest journal is always full) and still quite a bit that I haven't done. I have yet to get a "grinding" feeling as if one follows the zones based on levels it's not an issue.

I'm enjoying the setting, world, loot, creatures and the RP-PVP server. I'm interested in rolling some other characters and explore the other classes to see how they play. I think it would be difficult for me to play another fantasy based MMO as I've just gotten too use to the combat in the game. It's nice to feel that at least a bit of player skill affects the outcome of a fight rather than auto-attack found in other games. Also, the end game is what I'm really looking forward too: full city, sieges, raids, etc.

The game certainly lends itself to group partying as many of the quests are too difficult playing solo. I've been playing primarily with the "other" Guild and we have had some good groups going and healthly interest. I'll make more of an effort to look on TS and see if I can help form a party here. I have a LVL 55 Guardian so hopefully I'm within range to group up with everyone.
