While I admit to being a little hesitant to accept any concrete 'PVP rules' until after the PVP system has been implemented I am nonetheless in agreement with the conditions detailed by the Lions of Tybor. My own desires really do not extend beyond having a solid core of people to group with, so any other personal wants or needs are rather irrelevant to me.
However, I respect any decision made as a whole by Revenant first.

I'd prefer if people who don't play the game stop stirring up shit for no reason. Thank you.

I have no doubt that if the PvP system is implemented, our guild ruleset on PvP will be reviewed to ensure that it makes sense with any changes Funcom decides to throw over their left shoulder.

Question for you. Being one of those guys that has pretty much stopped playing, but has 2 more months on my subscription. I do hope that in 2-3 weeks Kat and I will play again for atleast a little bit.
How would those inactive players like us be treated? Ie I would assume we could join too, you just might not see us much and then in the future perhaps not at all. i have canceled our subs right now as we don't really know what we are going to do.
It's not that I don't want to play. I have fun, but I want to play with kat, and others, so while she isn't playing i really dont play.
Thoughts?
thanks
cg

After getting to group with the lions today while they acted as mercenaries for the Nemedian Legion I really have to say my worries about joining are pretty much dispelled. The leadership is not like damonte made it sound, ya him and crux are in charge but they don't try and rule with an ironfist.

I'm with cg in asking that question about actives/inactives. I know if I upgrade, I would seriously look at playing the game, just right now it is choppier than a mofo, so I don't. If I upgrade and I'm not around for say a week at a time sometimes, would that be a huge deal? Good question cg!

And here I thought I'd been trying to make it sound like we didn't rule with an iron fist.

We have people who go on haitus all the time. As long as the management knows that you're going to be gone, there's no issues. Most of the time someone's unstated absence is cause for concern than anything else. As long as someone who isn't able to play regularly is in reasonable communication I cannot see how it can be a problem.
The only caviat to that is if someone is part of the guild who has no intention of contributing to the guild in any way. I seriously doubt that there is anyone among either of our two groups who would fall into the category though.

Well in hindsight I guess I shouldn't have posted what I did in the original post since people are looking way to deep into it.
Simply, The Lions of Tybor have a set of goals for their guild, thus we'd have to maintain that goal, which is basically not being an asshat to other players (guilded or non-guilded), following the rules of the Lions (which includes their Kill on Sight List, which would require us to forget ours), and participating with the guild (in their teamspeak and their forums).

Thanks for the info! Its just right now i havent played in hmm 4 weeks or more simply because Kat has started school and isn't playing and she is the only one at my level. We try to stay around the same level so that we can still play with either other as neither of us really cares to solo.
I dont think you did anything wrong with posting all the info zoopy. People like to ask question which isn't bad.
The 2 of us might not be able to contribute much right now but when we do start playing again we do gather resources and like to kill ppl so that shouldn't be an issue.
So i would say we are both for the merger, not that our vote really matters right now since we aren't playing, though I can log us in to get us invited this weekend, might be able to get Kat to play for a little bit if she isnt studying.
Who are the main KOS asshats on your list anyways?
