I personally like the new maps, they are pretty well spread out in terms of vehicle and infantry dominance, and there are a couple that are almost entirely geared towards either extreme.
Aces High is a mainly Air map, with 6 jets per side (I believe), and as a note this map has the only exception to the UCB rule on the TG server (UCB attacking is allowed on this map alone).
Kharkiv is a infantry only city map, and probably one of the best maps in the new release. Its pretty large and there are
so many places to attack each and every flag, both from a horizontal range, as well as a vertical sense.
Matador is essentially an armor only affair, with what I would imagine to be around 20-30 pieces of armor per side, I'd say that its a blast. A large battlefield with rolling hills, and only 3 flags, it lends itself nicely to large armor battles for dominance of high ground.
Melitopol Depot is a mixed forces map (infantry and armor) and is unique to the release in that the maps contains many,
MANY, destructible statics. From walls to containers, to houses, it all goes boom! you really have to see it for yourself, and find yourself in the pants crapping situation of hiding in a house only to realize that the tank outside just blew a hole in the wall and is looking right at you.
