That looks like a great deal for those components. I know you're on a budget, but my only other recommendation would be to possibly get a WD Raptor or the new Velociraptor hard drive. My map load times and all sorts of operations improved drastically when I got the Raptor, so it's worth a look IMO.

Of course, you'll always forget to defrag, so it'll probably end up running like shit anyway. Just a thought.

Or you'll be right, and ill be posting another screenshot of my harddrive with nothing but red lines everywhere.

My experience with that router was very poor, I bought it after reading a lot of good reviews only to discover they released a new version with cheaper parts which is what I ended up with. It needed to be power cycled at least daily but ran better when propped up on its side.

It's been a while so things may have changed but I think the parts that made this router really good to begin with became a more expensive series. That's just my experience though.

Never heard of Zotac as a video card company. They seem to only have a 2 year limited warranty. But if that's ok with you then there is nothing wrong with it.

I like companies like eVGA and BFG who have lifetime warranties. I actually broke my video card while putting a non-stock cooler on it and eVGA still let me RMA it. eVGAs only stipulation is you can't overclock it.

All of the graphics cards are the same except for the sticker and warranty, if you dont mind about a 2yr warranty I would stick with the cheapest one. Also have that router and works fine for me, no problems like arf experienced.

Who needs tech support when you've got starman?

Anyway, a WD raptor/velociraptor aren't neccessarily faster just because of that 10krpm. There are other things to take into consideration like read/write times, cost per GB, heat and noise to get the best value for money. Which is what Santa wants, right?
