Default IP-restricted site access?

Out of curiosity, does anyone know a nice easy way to access sites with country restrictions? I've never really run into it before, but I was blocked from the NBC Olympic coverage, and just now I noticed that I can't see videos on Hulu.com. I'm assuming that an anonymizer of some sort would do it.

Proxy servers!
You find an address for a proxy server and configure your browser to surf through it.
In Firefox you go to Tools, Options, Advanced, Network Tab, click on Settings under Connection, and then type in your proxy.

It's slower than normal surfing but as long as they aren't blocking that particular proxy you're home free.

Good question! I was in Toronto at the time of the Olympics and I got blocked. Made me feel snubbed. As a citizen of the United States, don't I pay taxes to NBC? Proxy servers it is.

Well that's what you get for going to Toronto.

I used this to access Hulu for a while but the company which supplies the internet for the Uni I go to told me to stop it . It worked though.
