Thread: Racing League

I would certainly be interested in a racing league. A couple of players from SimHQ and Tactical Gamer got together a few months ago for a small series and it was a blast. We used Forza Motorsports 2 and spread the races over six weeks or so. Each week was a different class of cars and track, which made it a bit more exciting and allowed for a scoring system.

A few of us would get together for practice runs, discuss car selections for each week, and strategies for specific tracks. It was a lot of fun and helped me become a much better driver. I believe we ran the first few races with the different R classes to get some live racing under our belts. The final race was a mixture of classes (B and C, maybe) and everyone got to tune a car to their heart's content.

Now, off to vote for FM2 ...

Given the response to the poll, I'm going to aim for Forza 2 on the 360. I'll work out the details this weekend.

I prefer Mario Kart.

No reason we can't organize other leagues, if there's enough interest.
