Racing League

I'm curious in the potential interest in a racing league.

I have no firm plans but I've been thinking along the lines of:

Weekly event (like, every sunday at 5pm) with scheduled tracks.
Forza 2, Grid or PGR4 (probably Forza2 since it has the best physics engine).
Formula rules for car selection.

Post your interest and suggestions, please. :-)

I am interested!

I have been into so many flying sim.'s as of late, that it would be good for me to put my virtual pedal to the metal, and get back on the ground.

I have Forza 2, and PGR4, and my Racing wheel (I just have to make sure it still works after sitting unused for months).

Forza 2 is ideal for a weekly type set-up. I believe there are some built in tournament settings, and many options to change within the game for, pretty much, everything. And of course, the physics are unmatched.

PGR4 is just plain gorgeous compared to Forza, plus there are motorcycles.

But is closer to an arcade racer, compared to a sim that Forza is.

If for some reason GRID is the game of choice, I can probably go out and buy a used copy, or something.

Also, does anyone here have a capture card or some capability of recording direct video from the Xbox?

Personally I lean towards Forza 2 more than the rest due to the realism.

Def interested if it's Forza. Just means I need to dust it off and get back up to speed (pun intended).

What we could do, because there is no clan system on XBL, I read an interesting idea. If you make an account (just a silver account), and everyone in a clan just become friends with the silver account. Now that you can see the friend of a friend option, you all join on the silver account and you all get into the same race.

I would be more than willing to set that up if you guys are interested at all.

Well my plan was mostly Forza 2 on the XBox 360 since Forza 2 is included with most XBox 360 boxes. So I figure more people have Forza 2 on XBox 360 than any other.
