Gaming Addiction Resource Guide?

Multiplayer FPS games really get me yelling out curse words. Generally of the F and S variety, sometimes accompanied by fist pounding on desk. Sometimes.

Normally I just curse out loud with an occasional smash. I broke my HDD by smashing on my laptop once. I wasn't even playing games.

I do the cursing and fist pound stuff too, I'd be surprised at people that don't. Part of the fun is getting frustrated, and then overcoming that frustration feels so much better afterward.

I never get worked up over a game. I'm not surprised that people do get worked up, but it isn't in my nature.

Actually, when I think about it carefully, that's not entirely true. When I was playing Super Mario Galaxy, I had to put the controller down once before I "threw it across the room". Sometimes it is painful to fail 20 times in a row to collect 100 goddamn purple coins.

Icky, was that the Dreadnought 100 coins? That was really quite hard for me as Mario, but much easier with Luigi. And do you get anything for getting all 121 stars with Mario/Luigi besides a pat on the back?

I cured my gaming addiction by having my computer break the same week as I started a martial art. Complete coincidence, but now I kick above-average ass.
