Default Login Issues

For some reason whenever I log in to a computer that doesn't have the "Remember me" box selected I get logged off when I access another page. After I log in again I stay logged on. Also every time I try to log in where your avatar shows it never works.

Anyone else?

When I'm on my laptop that happens. I just dealt with it, even though it was very annoying.

I can't reproduce this bug from any of my computers on a variety of operating systems, platforms and browsers. Maybe you have a cookie setting in your browser that's doing this?

Please list your OS and browser type / version.

If I uncheck "remember me" from any login section, it keeps me logged in until I close the browser or log out manually. The login still persists when browsing across pages.

Testing this on my PC with internet Explorer 7 (since I never use it).

Version 7.0.6001.18000

No cookies or anything just stock settings.

Vista 32

I cannot log in at all with the User CP box regardless of "Remind Me".

I cannot log in using the upper right log in box unless the "Remind Me" box is selected.

The fact that so many configurations seem to have different results tells me this is a problem on the client-side and not server-side. I am certain it has to do with how your browser handles cookies and how high your security settings are.

I asked a few friends to test and none could reproduce the error.

Have a fiddle with your cookie settings and see if it fixes things.

This reminds me of the situation you sometimes get with redirects. If you login with "focusedgaming.com" and then connect to "www.focusedgaming.com", you may have different cookies for each of them.

On my brother's computer I had this problem with firefox in which he has a bunch of different settings configured, but it worked in IE where he doesn't have settings configured. Ya probably just need to configure it differently.
