Vista SP1 for 32 and 64 bit has already been pushed out by MS as a recommended upgrade on MS's auto upgrade system (or whatever it's called now)

If you have the beta.. or RC1, you need to uninstall it before the Windows Update will do the job.

It'll only show if it detects no driver incompatabilities though. SP1 patched up the driver model a little and some of the older Vista drivers cause problems if you install SP1. You can still download and install SP1 from the Microsoft website, although it might have some issues. I personally had to update my network drivers after installing SP1 (but otherwise it was smooth sailing).

Going from no SP1 to SP1 RTM didn't really help my gaming, the main difference was is windows is a little snappier now and files transfer across hard drives and networks 50x faster.

I wish more came from SP1 but either way when you have 4gb of ram i can have my pc loaded with spyware(not that I do) and everything still works smoothly.
