I get 40fps. My FPS is basically independent of graphics settings, so I'm guessing that's a CPU bound.

And yeah, blast damage and radius definitely needs to go up a bit.

Anybody tried the shotguns much?

Mine is v-sync'd at 60 normally, but I get upwards of 80+ when everything on max.

My FPS has been pretty good at >60 - meaning I have everything cranked and I don't notice any framerate issues at all.

The really need to tweak the grenades and the grenade launcher, not to mention the rockets off the RC helicopter.

I bet they were overcompensating since BF2s grenade launcher was a bit too good, but all they needed to do is set a 30 m arming distance. Nobody complained about it at range, only when people would shoot at their feet and get kills that way.
I dunno I was running around noob toobing people for a while and it seemed fairly easy. The reload is quite slow though so you only have 1 shot at it if they know where you are.

The smg is love/hate for me, sometimes it is spot on and dominant other times I feel like I can't do shit with it. I've messed around with everything and I think the bullet firing stuff is pretty balanced, grenades are horrible, along with the launchers, c4 has way more range and damage. I'm currently torn between assault and spec ops myself, the other classes aren't really my thing, although I may try the sniper as it was my primary play style many moons ago. Has anyone tried the cqc kit? I tried it for one spawn and had a nice laugh, I had a guy turn on me at point blank after I put a shell in his back.

The shotgun is preaty sweet. I recall trying to retake the subway and killing 7 people in a row. But that was in the subway itself though.
