Would anyone reccomend the game? I'm no noob to these Battlefield type games. I've been playing since BF1942 and was a huge Forgotten Hope fan. But FFoW seems so differen't, is it an easy to jump in an play kind of game? Or does it take a while to understand some of the basics? If I do decide to buy it I'll probably pick up a Mic (finally) too .

I will probably pick this game up, but only after VoIP is functioning and the developers have some time to squash the inevitable early bugs. My hope is that this does prove to be the next title for Battlefield fans, as Battlefield 2142 is growing somewhat stale for me, but I'm hesitant to jump on the bandwagon too soon.

I added my retail version of CoD4 to my steam account.. and can run it form steam ... But I dont use steam to run it.... because steam sucks my "bandwidth" (being nice)

in case you didnt know... I am a steam hater. Always have been , always will be

and yes, I always have it installed.

I will pick it up when it shows up on the shelves.
Will be all over this game... I hope it lives up to DC.

Good find Zoopy, looks like I will be waiting 2 extra days to get my hands on this game.

Hmmmm.....looks like I'm heading to Gamestop then.

Can't really see the point in waiting 2 extra days unless you have no way of getting to the store.

Same here. I was looking forward to getting it Monday via Steam but if retail is quicker, then so be it. I just want to be playing ASAP.

It really depends if you need the CD to play... I still would rather get it from Steam. You can preorder and download it from Direct2Drive, but I dislike that distributer so much that I'd rather wait for Steam.
