Blizzard doesn't rush to market. If something's not ready, they don't release it. Part of the problem is that consumers continue to buy from the companies that do this. Had I know this, I wouldn't have bought the game, but now I've DL'ed 94% percent of something that will do no more than take up valuable hard drive space until they fix it. Sunza bitches.
When you are the little guy you don't get to call the shots. That's just the way it works in business.

When you have 3.5 billion dollars a year in revenue, you get to set your own release schedule.
They didn't always have that kind of revenue. They got huge because they put out a quality, finished product. It's a business model/philosophy that transcends just gaming companies, but unfortunately is not the norm :S You should see the effect of faulty software in the data storage business. It's downright scarey sometimes.
well i got to the menu screen by going into the properties then compatibility and then witching it to compatible to Window NT. But when i get to the menu screen i have no cursor...ill try on board sound
EDIT- I took off the compatibilty mode and it works now. It asks you if you want to update the game and gives you a link to that patch for the hard copy but i just cancelled and it worked....now lets see if it KEEPS working...
EDIT2 - Works great now...played through a few SP missions. Overall a lot tighter and more responsive than beta. Even less alaised. Still needs a bit of AA but not as much as beta did. Hopefully MP works.
