WTH is with a 4.5g patch the day after release... what a pain. That has to be the largest "patch" that I have ever downloaded. Insane.

The DVD patch was only 75ish MB. Hoorah for me!

It is odd that the patch sizes would be so different.

I got the DVD. It played pretty well overall. I think they will stick with it and get it right.

I'll be on the server tonight.

It sounds like they had issues integrating the patch and decided to just re-release the entire install with the patch slipstreamed in.

Or perhaps they already had a long laundry list of bugs that were already fixed since the original install was released to manufacturing (RTM) which I guess could have been at least 30 - 60 days ago.

Actually, the whole game was like a 9 gig DL....so all told, we downloaded almost 14 gigs for one damn game.

I had no problems with the game what so ever.
Then again, in preparation for the install of the game I reinstalled windows, cleaned up the second drive.. upon install I played three of the SP missions.. ok so far

Played a couple rounds of MP last night... as you all left
