As some of you may know, I get horrid FPS in this game. It averages about 10, and sometimes dips all the way down to around 3. Ive tried science's suggestion on disabling the page file, but windows complained at me because I do not have enough ram. The other suggestion I know nothing at all about, so im wondering if its worth doing or if it could really screw up my system.

Well.. I am willing to try this.. even I'm on a different OS.. I'd love to see what happens. How much RAM do you have that Windows doesn't like it?

I know the page file thing doesnt work because I tried it. Its the other suggestion that science had that im curious about.

This game is a RAM monster. RAM is pretty cheap right now and if you can spare it, it may be an easy fix. I know of 3 guys that saw big improvement (going from no game to low-mid settings) when they bumped up to 2 Gigs.

I used to do that for Supreme Commander and Armed Assault. I think its the same, allowing it to use large address spaces. I doubt it'll help you because you have no RAM.

You are suffocating your machine with only 1 GB of ram. I have 3 and run smooth.

The Page File didn't do much for the game.. but it kicked ASS across the board for everything else.. this is on Vista 64 with 4GB.

Ram is cheap now, just get another gigabyte and you're good to go. It should even speed up loading times for CoH
Or just get a whole new computer as a graduation present this year and you'll be set for college.
