Who think's it's worth it?

Who all here thinks that FFoW is actually worth all the crap you have to go through just to play it. Through all the server hiccups, lack of a unified communication device that WORKS, crashes, rehashes, and numerous bashes against it.

And yeah, I think it's worth it as well. Definitely a love/hate relationship with the game at the moment. But you can see just how close to awesome this game is which can add to the frustration. It should never have been released as is, but what's done is done.

Now it just comes down to how fast they fix it. The clock is ticking and they could really sink the PC side of the game if they don't address the major issues quickly.

But man, I have dreams on how this game and our server will be with VOIP, everyone in a squad and following orders.

I don't have any of the major issues with my version (Direct2Drive). Outside of VOIP and some streamlined menu/browser issues the game is what I expected and worth the money. they fix the VOIP and Squad robustness this game will be great. Funny thing is I have a whole new appreciation for what is accomplished in BF2 from playing this game.

Ya, i got mine via steam. It's doing a great job, it's just occasionally it will lock up during loading of a server.

I think it's a great game.
But the server selection menu is annoying.
It just keeps going up when it finds new servers ><

Ya, i find the best thing to do is learn the IP address of the servers i always play so i can just get into them via the IP address, since the Server refresh is so jumpy

This game has too many bugs that adversely affect my pc. When it does work it is JUST an ok game. If you haven't bought it yet...don't. I'm sorry I spent my $50.00.

personally I think it blows bf2 away for gameplay. I really have no issues with it. I know many do, but they will fix them in time
