What was your first job?
I have stopped contributing nothing to society. I am now a courtesy clerk at Fry's marketplace, which is pretty much just an awesome euphemism for bag boy. They said in a month theyll move me onto bigger and better things, like fucking deli. Anyway, it was the best job I could find since the stupid people of Arizona decided it was a good idea to increase minimum wage. Dumbasses.
Anyway, im curious what other people's first jobs were.
Technically my first job was 4 years ago as a soccer referee, but it was only part time and seasonal. But it was fun getting to throw irate parents off the field and to have authority over kids that were either slightly younger than me or, in some odd situations when i was the only referee around, older than me.

My first job was basically the same thing as you, only in a Kroger grocery store. I only did that for a month until I landed a job for a couple years at a little tech shop called Theta Systems where I mainly built computers for the government labs in Oak Ridge. Would sometimes do repair work for regular folks, but it was mainly assembly, testing, and shipping them off.

My first job was as a newspaper delivery boy at 5 AM every morning when I was 11.
My first paid-by-the-hour job was as a cashier in a Becker's convenience store.

I started babysitting at 14 and working for a catering company at 15.
But my first full time paid job was selling computers at CompUSA... computer geek heaven for a 16yro at the time.

Of course, like most girls, I did babysitting when I was 11 years old. My first paying job was working in a bottle depot (my dad owned part of it with a buddy) when I was around 13 years old. Yeah, I was driving a forklift and everything..it was awesome!

My first taxed job was at the age of 14 working in a hobby shop. Helping customers, ringing in orders and packing away new stuff that came in. I never really played the games much, but I was always good at painting the figurines that came with them, so I also painted many of those professionally for people who didn't have the time to paint their own.

My first real job was Software development at Klocwork through he co-op at my university. I had jobs prior to University but they were computer related and done on my own(thus not taxed and what not).
