Default Scroll or numbers to pick weapons?

In just about any FPS, you have more than one weapon. You can either use the scroll on your mouse to choose a weapon, or use the numbers above WASD. So, what do you use?

Personally, im numbers. Scroll seems way too inefficient, especially if your kit has a lot of weapons, and those precious seconds it may take to find the right weapon can mean you are dead. Numbers seem a whole lot faster and theyre right next to your left hand anyway.

Numbers a bit. I usually map two weapons to my mouse and use the buttons around "w" for anything else. If I can't map to my mouse and "q" and "e" are used for other functions and there are more than five weapons, then I scroll.

Scroll for me. I don't WASD so numbers don't work out to well.

Scroll! I just scroll up one click to melee and scroll down one click to uber and I can still wasd. Unless I'm playing engy or spy, cause it messes me up (this is why you see me rushing you with a toolbox instead of a wrench or with a sapper instead of a pistol) Back during BF2/POE2 I had memorized the number of scrolls to get me from rifle to knife or from rifle to shock paddles so I didn't even need to look at the bottom right to see what weapon i was on.

I have developed a bad habit of relying on the quick switch button in TF2. Because of that, I am really slow at getting out my melee weapon.

I use the quick switch but always have it set to melee. I figure ill only use quick switch in a pinch, and generally only use melee in a pinch as well.

Numbers all the way. I haven't used scrolling to select a weapon once.

Numbers. I'm really impatient so while travelling or during setup I constantly mash 123 in different patterns. Scrolling seems too iffy, especially once you get used to accurately pressing 1 2 3 (sometimes 4).

Numbers, but in TF2 I use quick switch all the time. I have a side mouse button mapped to melee. For any class with more than 3 weapons, I just use the numbers.

The reason I like quick switch so much is that I tend to do it a lot while idle, which is a really time efficient way to indicate you're not a spy. If you're switching while idle, it saves pyros and others the effort of checking you and allows them to concentrate more on the enemy.
