This is pretty kewl. Very young children have amazing visual memory. Although they generally don't have the skills to draw it, the image sits for a time... tho not usually 3 days. Ever see those pair of pages in a childrens magazine where it shows a picture and then another with things changed. If you have a young child, try that with them. Depending on their age, and their visual memory affinity, it can be pretty amazing.
It's said that some sects of Eastern "meditators" have acheived a pretty high level of visual memory retention, although it's theorized that the means are quite different in some ways than children's. Last I read, this is actively being tested at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
