Well, here's the story behind "MoreGooder".

A fellow engineer and I had been suffering from severe boredom while inspecting tiny parts under stereo microscopes for hours on end. So, we decided to converse in the worst possible english we could come up with. The goal was to pervert the language to the point where anyone else who hears the conversation can't understand what we're saying without having to think hard. REALLY hard.

This was quite a challenge actually. I can't recall all of the funny stuff we came up with except for the phrase "Yeah, that'll be more gooder than sour pontifications". Henceforth, nothing was "better" or "improved"; It was always "more gooder".

It was fun to mix this in with perfectly normal yet high tech sounding sentences, such as " If we change the laser power output to 180 watts we'll end up with more gooder hermeticity in the glass seals".

Oh, and when I built my kitchen cabinets, the lumber yard insisted that I have a business card to get the contractor's pricing. The conversation went something like this:

"Wow, that's a big order. Do you have a business card so I can give you a contractor's discount?"

"No, I don't have a business".

"Ok, you REALLY need to come in with a business card so I can give you a discount".

"I don't own a business".

"Yeah, bring A BUSINESS CARD (with strong emphasis) the next time you come in so I can give you a discount."

I finally got the hint.

I created a fake business and printed up a couple of business cards. The name of the business was "MoreGooder Methods".

If I ever start my own business, it would have to be named "MGM" LLC

ANGELofDEATH

Back in the late 70s when we had to go to the Arcade or the 7eleven to play video games :/ ,
Some one else was already using my initials for HIGH SCORES.. I had to find new ones.
So one Sunday at bible school :/ We were learning about thee Angel of Death.. and I thought AoD would be an easy enter... Left to "A".. Right to the lowercase letters to the "o".. Left to the "D" .. depending on the game.

THEN, in the 80s Slayer released the song Angel of Death
.. I saw them live and before the song he screams ... AaaaaNGEL of DEAaaaaaTH!!

so I ran with it... Now this name is used by everyone and the their mom since the beginning of games. So there are many variations usually putting a "thee" before gets me in anywhere... 64 at the end for the year of my caddy. I have used angel for every console game ever..theeANGELofDEATH is too long to say in comms.. so it has been just ANGEL for years.

The origin of Jedak is actually pretty simple. I had spent a good deal of time online playing games (XvT, XWA, TFC) as Darklighter mostly due to my love of star wars and this.

Some of my friends from the squad were playing EverQuest. So I decided to try it. I needed a name for EQ, but I wanted something more in line with the EQ time period and fantasy realm, then the scifi realm Darklighter came from.

My real name starts with a "J" so I wanted to play off of that, and I came up with Jedak. I have used that name in games and online ever since including SWG (Most likely my last MMO and for sure last SOE game).
