Diablo 2:LOD
Would anyone be up for a trip down relapse lane? I was just talking to zoop about diablo 2 and I was thinking it would be cool if we just got together for a little screwing around in this golden oldie. Maybe we could hit it up this weekend and start a group of characters together.

who cares? The way I see it if we can get 4+ people we can just play by ourselves. It would be way more fun that way.

I do this every so often with my friends. We usually get to NM act 1 before we call it quits until the next time.
I'm down like a frown.
EDIT: I just reinstalled. My characters would have expired in 3 days. Lucky!

Just bought the Battle Chest - Diablo I-II - expansion - last night. Sort of amazing that a PC game almost a decade old is still being sold. Guy next to me in the PC aisle saw me getting it and said "Diablo, awesome game". Given I have such a good time playing Titan Quest and Diablo is the series that started it all I'm looking forward to playing. I started with a Barbarian as it seems like a good class.
I'd like to play co-op if anyone wants to join. Can Diablo be played Co-op? Or is it just II?
Also, can I adjust the screen size? I didn't see anything in the options menu. Does that need to be done on my monitor setting?

Diablo 2 has the option of playing in 800X600, I don't think the first one does. Playing in windowed mode is a better option. To do this right-click on the Diablo shortcut and go to properties, add the following to the end of the target box:
So the target field should look like this:
Code:
"C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -w
Not sure if it works for the first Diablo, but it works well for Diablo 2.

Definitely no way to get windowed mode for Diablo 1 unless you're on a Mac.
I searched and searched and searched for a way to do it in Windows but couldn't find shit.

Oh boy, looks one more game I'll be playing for hundreds of hours I can see why the series is still be played a decade later. Fun stuff.
Started first quest on LVL 3 - Plague Eater's are the first tough mob I encountered. Learned my lesson on potions - carry alot.
Are armour and weapons color leveled, blues, purples, etc?

How do you kill the Skeleton King - LVL 3? He keeps rising skeletons! Man, this game is tough. Can you stack potions?
