Man how do the Croatians not only manage to miss a penalty kick, but miss the entire goal? Both of their misses weren't even on target.

The penalties weren't good at all. Nice save from the Turkish goalkeeper at the end.

I went for dinner when it was 0-0 with about 5 minutes left to play. When I came back, the game was over and they were summarizing. I went into shock and I don't remember anything after that.

Geez... the first goal comes after 119', then 2 minutes later, the equalizer. How can you even dream of winning after giving up a goal so late! It's crazy!

For 2 minutes, soccer was almost as exciting as hockey!

The entire game was exciting if you play soccer. I can see how soccer can be boring to someone that doesnt play it because there arent many goals, but the setup from the back to the 18" is just as good if you know what is going on.

Im sure its the same way with hockey. That shit is boring to me until theres either a fight or a replay of a goal (because I wont see the fucking puck in real time).

Soccer is basically hockey in slow motion with a giant bouncey beach ball and too many people on the ice at the same time. Oh and soccer players are fucking babies.

Hockey players have an enormous amount of pads. Soccer players wear tiny shin guards that dont actually do anything at all. Now a days theyre just made to please the referee because they certainly arent going to protect you.

EDIT: Dickhead.

It's a shame I missed this game. The Turkish pizza deliverer told me the next day that the whole Turkish community got involved in a riot two minutes from where I live with the police because they were all going crazy over that match
