I am similarly not sold on the playstyle. But I will still probably be getting it. Seems to be treading on STALKER (I know Fallout came first, but it was a different game back then).

Been playing fallout 2 lately. and pre-ordered the collectors edition of Fallout 3. I want me a pipboy bobble head and lunch box!

I played through Fallout 1 and thought it was awesome, but 2 turned me off for some reason. I think it was the inventory system alone that made me stop playing it.

That said, some Fallout items might be nice to have for nerd_value++.

I never played any of the Fallout series, but Fallout 3 looks awesome simply due to the fact that you can have a gun that launches Teddy Bears at people to kill them.
