Teamspeak tip
I was tinkering with my TS shortcut today and I was thinking that we were probably due for a post pointing out how to make your own TS shortcut. When I went to do that, I discovered another nifty thing which makes it even easier.
If you click on the Teamspeak link at the top of the page under the Focused Gaming banner, you get excellent instructions on how to set up your Teamspeak client. You also get a link which, once you have TS installed, will take you straight into TS.
What you might not know, is that you can drag that link from the page to your desktop, where you can use it whenever you want to connect. Furthermore, you can right click on the link and select "properties" to modify your nickname and you can add "?channel=Team Fortress 2" to the end of the url to join a specific channel. And if you happen to need it, you can also add "?subchannel=<subchannel name>" to the end to get into a specific subchannel.
This is valid for Firefox and XP. I haven't tested it with anything else.
