If you like Extras you'll love Office, and the UK version is better.

If you like 24, try to find the show "Spooks", it's better, and has many extremely political back-stories to most of them, the story's are great and they have no problem killing or getting rid of main characters which keeps it real. extremely emotional and simply brilliant at times, probably...the best show on TV?

Smallville is cool, but if you start watching now you'll be lost as hell.

Family Guy and Futurama, yes I prefer Futurama to Simpsons.

I may be a bit conventional here for some people's liking but "Friends" is pretty decent (the repeats are getting annoying though. How long ago did it finish? And they still rerun episodes every day)

Again, slightly conventional when I say Becker & Two and a Half men.

Daily Show with Jon Stewart + The Colbert Report are excellent. Comedy is good. Comedy that whoops the ass of stupid Governments and people is great.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia now gets my recommendation as well. In the comedy category, I would put it just under Arrested Development and just above Weeds.

If anyone is considering The Office (UK) and Extras, I would suggest not watching them close together. The themes and style are so similar that you might not enjoy it as much.

Apart from the fact that a website FinalGear has all of the episodes in torrents, it is a fantastic show.

The US one is set to come out soon, and the good news is that they will be privately funded so that they won't have to worry about pissing off car companies. But Clarkson's "I was on the internet, and I found this!" will be missed

Hopefully they find at least one host who hates the UK and most of Europe for no reason other than their own ignorance.

US version? Awesome. They also might not need to worry about running out of money. Top gear is one of the most watched shows on TV (in this country), if it was funded by advertising only they'd have a crap load of money to play with, but they pretty much get just as much money as other TV shows on the BBC. Surprised that the new series ended so quick, it was like 4 episodes or something, but I've heard it was over pay disputes. Apparently Jeremy Clarkson was getting paid like £2 million a show or something and Hammond & May were still in mid-low 5 figures and not happy about it. Don't quote me on it though, just something i heard in a casual conversation.

Yeah, Final Gear has all the torrents. God bless them. THE best show about cars. Sometimes it's on BBC America but it's all edited with commercials and crap. I actually find the anti-american comments spewed from Clarkson's mouth funny. I'm hoping the American version will be decent. Adam Carrola is suppose to be one of the hosts. I still don't think the American hosts will have the same chemistry that May, Hammond, and Clarkson have.

It was six actually, and no, there is no contract dispute. May and Hampster's contracts were going to end and they needed to retool them.

Haha, yh, I was gna ask if any of the guy's who watch Top Gear and aren't British find Clarkson's digs at anything that's not English offensive, even though it's usually done in good humour more than anything else, but I seriously don't blame anyone for getting pissed at them.
