I liked watching Chef Ramsey go off on his cooking minions in Hells Kitchen, until Bane ruined it for me and told me that the cast in these "reality" tv shows are actually actors acting like they are normal people.

I've got to check out the Wire. You guys listed some really funny shows that I enjoy as well, but when I wanna get in touch with my sensitive/slightly narrotic side I tune in to Greys Anatomy. Its funny and quirky but not as gay as sex in the city. I also enjoy watching America's faithful's doing their best on American Idol...does that make me wierd?

Generation Kill is pretty good, thanks for the recommendations. Going to try out some of these other series' now.

I was kind of skeptical about Generation Kill, but my friend happened to have the first 6 episodes. I'm about 50/50 on his recommendations, since some of them are great and some are stupid, but because you guys all enjoyed it I thought I'd give it a shot.

It's really great. Thanks for the heads up.

Freaks & Geeks is the most brilliant single season of television ever produced; I've been watching it again and it still kicks ass.

Just came across this interview with the co-creator of Generation Kill , Ed Burns.

Good stuff.

Also, there's a freakishly weird BBC show I came across recently called Look Around You. It's some of the guys from Spaced/Shaun of the Dead and a bizarre parody of those science films you used to watch in class. It's very absurd and insanely funny.

Necro..

Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles (May have mentioned it...?) is restarting. Apparently already going again in the USA (Can anyone confirm this?) I just thought it would be a money-grabbing sell-out, but turned to be a pretty damned good series, almost made up for the epic fail that was T3.

We get in the UK/Britain around October time apparently. Anyone watch this...? Thoughts...?

To all of you who recommended the Wire. Thank you very much for costing my $200. I bought the first season to see how I liked it, and the next I know I've got the rest.

Awesome show.

All shows starting with "The" are good.

I am current re-watching Oz because I recommended it to a friend and then when he started watching it I couldn't resist its call. The bad news is that I have 40 hours of Oz that I can't stop watching. The good news is that it is awesome and by the time I finish I will have a full season of The Shield waiting for me.
