I hate you jepzilla, my intense hatred and fear of spiders has just increased by several times. I literally had to look away from the screen. I feel like a Life bar is about to pop up in the top left corner of my eye and I lose a quarter of my psyche...then I remember this isn't MGS4 and I cry into a pillow because it was such a good game that it makes everything else in the world look insignificant.
Damn I love MGS4, finished it in 4 days, better than 4 days of sex I can assure you.

When I lived in NoCo San Diego, I'd see spiders like that in my back yard, hanging out. I tried to catch one once... no success.

My worst nightmare, If I'm going to hell, please let me burn for eternity, and not have thousands of spiders like that crawling over me...oh darn, did I just let God know that...hopefully he doesn't visit -F-
While looking through this thread I just scrolled very, very carefully, and very slowly. More spider pictures will sadden me deeply.

I hate this thread, whenever I click it I forget that I'm doomed to seeing that goddamn spider. from jep at the top. Random, thanks for the warning. I saw only the bottom and top inches of that picture and I'm freaking out already...sometimes not seeing something is worse...your imagination begins to work wonders.

I'm not sure if this is off-topic anymore, but...
I once went canoe camping with a group of 10 people in a pretty remote area. We set up our tents one night and had them scattered all about in a forested area where bears are a legitimate concern. Late at night, we all awoke to the sounds of screaming and swearing. We all converged on one of the tents with flashlights, fearing the worst, and found the occupants cowering in the corner. My friend and his wife were deathly afraid of spiders, and we found one about the size of my thumbnail under his pillow.
There are NO poisonous spiders in this area.
