i prefer wired mice in general. It's not even so much about reliability but it's more about having to rely on batteries. Having to remember to swap out my batteries would be a pain. Also, I've found that rechargeable batteries tend to hold their charge for shorter and shorter periods of time as time goes on. If you're the kind that replaces his mouse every year, then that shouldn't be a problem, but I think most of us want to spend our money on a quality product that we can use for a long time to come.

I have had a G7 for a few years now, and it has been fantastic. With excessive use, the battery needs to be changed once a day. I just spend 3 seconds changing it when I first sit down, and I'm good to go. The battery change frequency has not changed at all.
I do have a friend who experienced reliability problems with his though.

I recently got a razor copperhead and hate it. I hate the feel of it, the shape of it, and the placement of the buttons. I just ordered a G5 to replace it.

Agreed, Even if I do manage to use it for 8 hours straight and it dies on me during a round.. It takes less than 5 seconds to swap them out. I too have never had problems with mine.... and people who have had problems with it, called logitech and they sent them a new one with out question.
So vote for the G7 and a yoga mat for teh win!! LOL

Right now, I'm looking to replace my G7.
A sticky right click.. I have an eight year old, OK! Getcher mind outta there!
But that's also how I know there is some new stuff from logitech on the way- mainly wireless.. so if you've got a hangup about wireless - get over it. Unless it's Bluetooth.. but I won't even go there.
Hint.. hint.. Logitech GX.. hint..
I just hope they unify their wireless systems.. and I sure hope they don't go BT.

P8riot, I'll sell you my 2 week old copperhead that I can't seem to get the feel for. $50 new, yours for just $30 or something.

I think its all pretty silly that you guys waste so much money on a mouse. I just have like a 10 dollar optical logitech mouse and iits perfect. Wireless anything seems like the worst mouse for gaming because of the delay.

Your missing how awesome it is to have a mouse with a bunch of buttons on it, makes life much easier.

I don't think I could go back to a low dpi generic mouse at this point. They feel so jumpy.
