Released today with not too much fanfare. I just downloaded it (EA seems to finally have decent download speeds) and will be playing it a bit.

If there's enough interest and depth in the multiplayer element, I'll make us a dedicated forum for the game.

From what I understand, your creature gets uploaded into the Spore universe but you can't interact with other players directly.

Hopefully that'll change with subsequent patches? It's EA, so probably not.

I am still on the fence about this one, on one side it sounds amazing, the idea behind it is great and it could be fantastic. In the other side it is made by EA, EA destroy everything they make.

Summary of reviews for Spore.

I'm not sure about this one. I typically do not enjoy games which lack multiplayer capability.

Not hearing any good reviews so far. Heard it's kinda boring and slow until the end. Also heard the the DRM sucks...3 loads, after that you have to call EA to be allowed to load it...

For those who are playing it, what are your thoughts?
