In case anyone was wondering the new Nine Inch Nails offering is perfect music for HGL.

My wife has the 36 song download already, and as she is a huge NIN fan, is only so-so with the this CD. The more she listens to it the more she likes it, but it is a bit different than their other releases.

And I respect the hell out of them for releasing it they way they did.

It's pretty damn good, much better than Year Zero. His instrumentals have only got better as he gets older, as shown by this and the original tracks on Still.

Personally, I like all of the remix albums he's done in the past like Further down the Spiral, or Fixed. So this reminds me of those, where he explores more of the music. The new album appears to be a true experiment in almost painting a canvas through music without words.

His version of Gary Numan's Metal on Things Falling Apart is so good.
