Class Picks

Anyone decide on a class they wanted to start out with yet? If we tend on playing together it would be good to diversify the classes. I myself haven't decided yet.

I have been planning for a week. my offline is an evoker with no real build just a mess around to check the class out. http://hellgate.ingame.de/skilltree/guardian/ enjoy, it is buggy and kinda sort of off but it's the best I've seen.

Main is a Blademaster.

After that, I'll split time between a Marksman and a Guardian. Depending on need, I can shade more towards one or the other without any problems. Keep in mind, that there are different and viable ways to play each class. One that I found pretty unconvential was the Gun Guardian. Most people would consider the class being a Paladin/sword and board type, but I found it was very fun playing it as a two pistol or pistol and shield class. Anchor and spray did MASSIVE amounts of damage.

Of course, you don't make the best Tank for a party, but it is fun none the less. :twisted:

Just some things to keep in mind when you start looking over skill trees. Min/Maxing can be very effective, but it isn't always the most fun.

Nemesis - Blademaster
Storm - Marksman
Arclight - Guardian

yarp? well at low levels it is a little tough but after level 5 and some nice gear it got easier, make sure you have something in venomous spirit and word of fear to thin large mobs. you only have a few large area attacks so be careful you don't get rushed, I only nearly died once because of a miniboss and new mobs constantly popping in I didn't realize my focus device was stuck. you can't cast spells while using two hand rifles or firing a focus device. focus devices are buggy and can get stuck firing so be careful of that in a fight.(pre patch 0) harp pistols are very helpful. I will write more if you want but I have class in 5 minutes. *continued* harp pistol warning or anything that immobilizes don't use on ravagers or other jumping enemies they will glitch and stop taking damage or giving damage (pre patch 0).

Engineer or guardian for me since I don't see a dedicated healing architype.

I spoke too soon it still has no info past the first 2 skill points inputted so it is still useless.
