Flagship's is going under.
Guess that means it's the end of HGL.

Does not surprise me. TR needs to go next.
TR is actually doing fine. You really shouldn't be hoping companies filled with awesome people go under. The guys behind TR are bar none some of the most stand up people you will ever meet. They are always interacting with the community and just recently flew in about 8 core members of the community for an all expenses paid weekend to see what is coming down the pipeline. The game is only really getting better and I think if cov/coh are still surviving TR will survive.
Yeah, there wasn't much wrong with the TR release IMO. Good game with tons of support.
Hellgate was fun, but had some seriously awful bugs for a long time and very little to keep people interested for any length of time.
I don't wish the worst for anyone, but I do think that shitty dev teams need to be discouraged from making games. Whoever was responsible for the train-wreck that was FFoW can do us all a favour by seeking out an industry that more suits their skill-set, such as vending hot dogs.
http://www.gamespot.com/news/6194084...stnews;title;2 Good to hear, just hope patch 2.0 can get released because it makes some big changes that really make the game better.
Yes, disappointing to hear. Though not surprising. I really had high hopes for HGL and actually had fun playing. I actually believe it was the repetitiveness that killed the game(along with the bugs). Alot of games are repetitive that are alot of fun but it just seemed the game was the same sewer/dungeon/street over and over again with a boss area in a grave yard. One's surroundings really looked the same. Perhaps if they really made an effort to differentiae the areas that would have kept me. London has alot of cool areas to take advantage of especially in an MMO.
Tebula Rosa or whatever
Anybody still playing this? I just picked HG up and am looking to get some people together to play.
