Thread: Some questions

- How connected are the different worlds? I am in Delta world so can I interact with people from other worlds or only Delta people?

- Where should I place my second town? My first town is on a marble island and there are slots available on nearby islands for crystal, sulfur, and wine. Should I go for a close island with wine? Something further away?

- I feel like I am missing something with the trading system. I am buying and selling stuff via the trading post but is there more to it than that?

- When I am pillaging other low level towns am I always going to end up with wood? How do I get at their luxury resources?

- Different worlds are entirely separate. Most of the guys are on the Alpha server.

- I would consider Wine as a second option and generally speaking, something close by. Remember, you will be shipping marble and wine back and forth. Marble is the most desired item for trade. There is nothing wrong with popping a second colony on that same marble island your on right now. I have 3 marble colonies on the same island and if I get a chance, I will be putting a 4th down. Your goal for when your at 5 colonies probably should be 3 Marble, 1 Crystal, 1 Wine.

- The only other thing is direct trading where you see someone that has something that someone else has that you may trade for directly. But yea, that's how the trading system works and in my opinion, it's pretty slick. Every second level you advance your market allows you to see further. The more traders you see, the more likely you can pounce on some deals that you can turn around and sell for a higher price.

- With low levels, your likely to only get Lumber. It's safe though and you need lots of lumber anyway. The only way to get at more luxuries is to attack people with larger Trading Ports but you risk war. My suggestion is to donate half the lumber you take on your pillages to that marble mill and that's really how to make it pay off for you. Even if it's 30 or 100 at a shot.

Alpha seems to insist on starting me off on a sulfur island. Isn't that the world possible starting luxury resource?

I started on Sulfur and no doubt it's the toughest one to start on. If you are close to where we are at, it won't be a big deal. Otherwise, don't do anything with that account and create a new one. Your sulfur account will disappear within a day or two.

i would have to disagree with luckyshot on terms of a second island althogh i can see the advantages of having a wine island. I would choose a glass island to colonize for a second one providing that you started on marble.

why? after a palace upgrade to 2, a third one requires glass

around 4.9k glass to be exact.

worried about wine? buy some! that gold has to be useful for something!

or find a trader . the boards are really useful in trades, i am now trading with some very high ranked people as they all need my marble. LOL
