Default Just dropped my second town

I migrated over to the Alpha server near the UEL and just got my second town down. Lucky has been showing me the ropes and I think I have a handle on the basics now. If you are thinking about trying this game out you should definitely do it.

I just started literally 15 minutes ago. Is it better to move right away near the UEL or should I build up this first city first?

Well, also, I don't know how the process would work to relocate.

You basically build up your first town to the point that you can drop a second one, drop your second one near UEL, then you can promote your second city to your capitol and destroy your original town.

here's how it works. first of all you want to colonize (ASAP) to near whoever you want to colonize, in this case it is UEL.

to expand you must research something called "expansion" (wow lol =P). Expansion is in the Seafaring tree and it is the third one down. Once you have researched expansion you have to build a Palace . A palace allows you to expand basically.

Costs of a level 1 Palace:

600 lumber ---8 hours to build.

Costs for Expanding:

12000 Gold
1.25k Lumber
5 Trade Ships
40 Citizens

Once you colonize near UEL your capital city is basically useless because its too far away. Thats why, like Hidus said, focus everything on expansion, dont gather too many resources because you're just gonna drop your first town pretty much as soon as you colonize. So play with the mentality that you are going to abandon the town you are playing in right now, don't build it up too much.

Yes it does require some sacrifice on your part but I'm sure luckyshot or any other part of UEL would be happy to help you out with your new town =D. Thats what I've been doing with my alliance, and we're all happilly placed exactly on 21:61 =D.
