i started out on an island with level 5 wine and level 6 lumber, i need about a day to get my remaining 6000 gold plus whatever it costs to make my next 3 boats. i think id like to either continue with a wine island or go to a marble island.

My palace will be up shortly. I'm thinking of putting my colony on Vereios[26:54]. before i set out, anything i should be worried about or prepare for?

I see another marble island 2 over to the northeast with higher resources, I would go there.

I just finally got around to deleting my original starting town myself and am now fully moved. There is a temptation to keep shipping resources from your starter town to your new location but the problem is it makes it difficult to extract yourself because you always have goods in transit. I ended up switching 100% of my starter town population to gold production just to remove the temptation to keep shipping luxury goods.
