Default Question on picking up and moving

How easy is it to pickup and move your colony to another location? I'm not close to anyone at my work or well anyone i know at all. The closest coworker to me is like 9 hours away.

I got kat playing last night and shes probably just as far. Now that i have 3 colonies how easy is it to just pickup and move myself? or do i need to wait until they can build another colony and see if they can pickup and move towards me?

What you do is destroy your buildings, recall your spies, ship all your goods to your capital. Then you destroy the colony and set up a new one. If you set up in the area I am at, then we can give you quite a bit of protection.

So you can destory your main colony and pick a new spot on the map to move too? I really got a ton of stuff out in the world already lol. I might just see if i can get my 2 coworkers and kat to destory there stuff and come plant next to me hehe.

Dropping a new colony requires the same thing that got you those 2 colonies in the first place.

1) 5 boats available.
2) 1200 lumber
3) 12,000 gold

You can have as many total cities as 1+ your palace level (capital + cities * Palace level).

I finally moved my palace so my capital is now right near UEL's power base. It's a real pain in the ass shipping stuff 4+ hours from my initial start location as it ties up half my fleet and cuts into my ability to pillage constantly. Looking forward to demo'ing my starter town soon.

im out in the boonies at coordinates 45, 98. im kind of close to cg i think, but since im just starting out im not sure about how long it takes traveling around to different islands. as we speak im researching expansion and should be able to build an outpost somewhere soon, any suggestions as to what my move should be?

UEL is around 28:54 which is quite a hike from your starting loc but you are thinking about this at the right time. The longer you leave it the more hassle it is to pick up and move. The nice thing about the UEL area is it is fairly well developed which means higher level island resources, higher level pillage targets, and more action in every direction.

Are you looking for a particular island type?

It takes 40 minutes per island. We are mostly by the 30x50y area. Tell us when your ready to move and what type of island you want to be on and we will get you hooked up. A good goal for owning 5 islands is to have 1 Crystal, 1 Wine, and 3 marble colonies. Try and decide which one you want next.
