it's a peaceful area and as near as I can tell, no major alliances up here.

lol why did you build there? So boring with nobody around.

I've got level 15 - 20 cities all around me in every direction... so many people to pillage, so little time (and boats :x).

again, thats where it started me. I had no idea what I was doing to start so I didnt even consider starting over someplace else. but this gives me a chance to build up a huge base of operation and take out and future enemies

Kat just moved her first island over and im trying to get my 2 coworkers to move over that I got into the game. Bastards wont pick up and move though, once they get a 4th island it hink they gonna move over.

well i just got all 4 of my towns attacked and 2 occupied. so i cancled my account and tried 3 times to start near you. wasnt happening so im done. Best of luck to you all

How quickly things change I guess. I thought you were in an area of peace, harmony and small armies. Bummer it didn't work out but I would encourage you to keep trying to get closer. I think it took Hidus 9 or 10 times to get close.

appearently the guy next to my main city had like 3 accounts and was massing up an army two islands away and just wailed on me.

You know you could have demo'd your colonies and moved them all by where we are at. Then it would just be a matter of leaving your capital behind.

Yeah, I didn't start nearby... It took me about a week to move, but everything is back to normal now. It's a small amount of time to pay, I think, to get up close to the rest of the guys. When you feel like it again, hope you give it a shot! But it might be good to take a break.
