How can i tell if someone is inactive again or on vacation.

the little gray (i) = inactive? and the palm tree = vaca mode?

yep (i) is inactive and their name should be in gray.

palm tree=vacation although lots of inactives decided to abuse this feature as well.

something easy to remember is

if you can only send them a message they are on vacation

k thx. was deciding to see if i could score some easy marble or something but im guessing the inactives don't continue to gather materials or is it that someone most likely is farming them for their resources?

it could be that their port is level 2 or three. many times i have spied that inactives have tons of resources but i only get like 300 or 60 total resources when they are pillaged because of their port level.

Inactives do continue to take resources, those on vacation do not.

Inactives are easy money. Ive built my empire on farming inactive towns for the gold. It may not be much per raid but it adds up over time.

Now that they let you blockade inactives, it's so much easier to make money off them too. Working over a guy right now that's dropping 3k marble and 40k in gold per pillage. Before you could only hit guys without a navy. It's so much better.

So do those that are on vacation ever get swapped to inactive by the system? Theres 3 fellows right now that are near me that are on vaca mode that I want to go inactive so i can farm them. The same alliance that attacked me weeks ago now has 3 members on vaca lol.

Yes, they eventually come out of vacation mode. When that happens, they may be inactive if no one touches the account for a long enough time.
