Default Lucky question for you

Hey bro I have a question for you. Do i need to tell the GM's on our server that both kat and I play from the same Ip addresses?

Sometimes I will send her goods and sometimes she will send me goods, so its not like they are free, we just exchange without using payment, though sometimes we use payment.

The only reason I ask is a friend of mine just got perma banned today. I guess he had 2 accounts and they dont really like that. I can see banning someone atleast for sometime but a perma ban for a first time offense? Seems kind of harsh to me, not to mention that I know he didn't read the rules, hell ive only read a few of them myself.

Do they ever give second chances? I know he won't start over so i guess its just one more friend that wont play the game, and possibly buy any of their ambrosia.

thoughts?

--edit

Buddy of mine that got banned just told me that the GM's said you can't have 2 people that play from the same location, they can't have any contact or be in the same alliance. To me that seems a bit extreme. How do they expect to get people interested if they can't play with anyone that they know?

If your both playing with the same IP, you can get banned for that unless you contact a Game Operator. Even if you have contacted a Game Operator, they don't want you trading with one another or being in the same alliance as it gives you too big of an advantage over other players. Unfortunately, it leads to people running 2 alliances which coordinate which gives some players a HUGE advantage and I know of at least one instance that this is happening.

So yea, your playing with fire right now.

You need to find out if you have a static IP or a Dynamic IP. If you have a static IP, there may be a program out there that would allow you to change your IP.

*edit* here is an example of one and likely not the best. http://www.download.com/NetChanger/3...dlPid=10619538

oh no i have a static but I play from different locations. To me its pretty retarded because what if Im in at college that everyone has the same main router ip from.

What the point of even playing this game then if you cant play with other ppl you know. Everyone in my little alliance, 4 of us, knows each other.
