I'm really looking forward to the game. I signed up for beta months ago but never got an invitation...Still, I plan to be buying it on release.

The potential for utter chaos in a world resembling RL (not dominated by goblins and elves) seems awesome. Lucky I don't ever go near MMOs since I have an addictive personality as it is. Might be an idiot and get it anyway if enough people are still playing (and enjoying) this a few months down the line.

I think the thing i like best about the game is its not supposed to have a subscription. I thought i read they were basing the cost model off the pc/console style. You pay 60 bucks and your done. If that is the case I will definitely be getting it even if i dont get to test the beta.
I love the crackdown xbox360 game and these are the same guys that made it.
Console style is you can't play Multiplayer unless you have a subscription to XBox Live or whatever the PS3 version is.
So there is a monthly fee involved. The fact is that even the F2P games have cash shops which you almost always have to use to stay competitive. So I can't see this game being any different.
That being said, I've been playing MMO's since forever, so a monthly fee has never really bothered me as long as the game was fun.
So far, this game is looking damn fun, but we'll soon find out for sure.![]()
Ya the monthly fee doesnt bother me as well i just dont like to have more then 2 going at once. I know i am going to be playing SWTOR and i play eve so that's my two. which is why I will be happy if APB doesn't have a monthly fee
