Second -F- server coming SOON! - Team Fortress 2

To add a little variety and open our community up to more people, we have decided to launch a second TF2 server. The two servers will have different map selections, chosen to meet the varied interests of our members.

Watch for more details. In the meantime, if you have any opinions on what you would like to see from this second server, we're listening.

Maybe one server could be some of the more enjoyable custom maps. That way we have a stock map server then we can switch servers to the custom maps when we are in the mood for that.

Either that or the 24/7 2 Fort

Let's keep the sarcasm and fake suggestions out of this thread. We're looking at options right now to help differentiate this server from #1 so now's the time to make your suggestions.

One difference that already exists is that this server is on the west coast, which should help attract more late night players and players from that region, which is currently underrepresented here.

My first suggestion was an honest suggestion. Sometimes I am on I would prefer more custom maps, so having one of each with the other maps in just incase would give more options to the members on that server.

I would agree with a 24/7 custom or 24/7 ctf. I would just prefer if we keep the current one as is and have another for other things like what I suggested.

24/7 Customs is the frontrunner right now, and most likely how it'll be out of the gates.

Maybe put some of the smaller maps into the rotation? (Turbine, Labor), especially if at the beginning it's a little slower to fill up than the primary F server.

Also, could we maybe run some classic TFC maps/TFC remakes (excluding warpath)? I feel like they're worth atleast a shot.

More than anything, I think that smaller maps in the rotation might work well, especially if it's on the west coast and late at night people like me are up at 1 in the morning, we can get some run in like 6 on 6 or 8 on 8 games without having to cross maps like dustbowl or well.
