Default Cool way to take down a sentry

As if engineer's needed more difficulties, theres a pretty easy way to take down a T3 sentry gun even with a whacking engineer on it.

This method is nice because it requires less skill (dont have to carefully aim rockets to kill engy or anything like that) and more teamwork. If a rocket and a fully charged sniper shot hit a sentry gun at the same time, it will instantly explode regardless of what the engineer does. So if your the sniper, charge your shot 100%, wait for your soldier buddy to shoot a rocket and when it looks like the rocket hit, fire and the sentry will instantly 'splode.

An even easier way to do it is if you have two snipers. Two fully charged 100% shots at the same time takes it down instantly.

Alternatively, two soldiers can take it down if they fire both rockets at the same time, and then continue firing together. This however is a lot easier for the defense to prevent since you have to just sit still for quite a while with giant bullseyes on your chest.

That's pretty radical. As an avowed sentry gun hater, I say we try this soon.

As an Engineer do you normally place your Sentry in locations that are easy to Snipe and/or spam rockets from out of range? Cause those tend to be bad sentry locations....

Given that most of the snipers on our server are fairly accurate, it doesn't need to be in the open for this to happen. all the sniper needs is a piece of it visible an long open maps there will be no more forward sentries with this tactic out there. you'll go back to seeing sentries in bases behind corners and that was a complaint just last week.

Ya seriously. If you are in a position where a sniper can take fully charged shots at your sentry, it's going down either way.
