We need some events again for the server! Everytime i look lately the server is empty but there are anywhere from 3-5 ppl playing on other servers. I know ppl play on other servers because they get tired of seeding the focused one.

I was just wondering if we had a scheduled tf2 event every day, you think think that would help liven up the server?

I think a once or twice a week event (like 8 pm EST on Sundays and Wednesdays, for example) would be a good start.

I definitely prefer our server to some other, more laggy, alternatives.

Does our reserved slot system work on kicking the longest-playing person on the server? Because I know people that refuse to seed, just because they'll be the first to get kicked.

But announcements did nicely when they were on daily

I've been trying to but I'm not sure our server is up to date with the patches as I get errors every time I try to join about a a changed file.

You might have picked something up from another server... console should have a log of exactly what files it doesn't like.

cant you just delete what ever file it is that it doesnt like and then won't it redownload?

Same for me. This file was patched by valve in the last patch which leads be to think the servers not updated.

Only chance in hell your gonna get the server seeded is with a community announcement, even than it's hit or miss.
