Thread: Spectator Mode

Can one join the server and spectate? How's it done if so?

At the moment you'll have to actually join the game and click spectator on the team selection window (the little TV beside the BLU door).

The only problem with that is you take a spot on the server and if the server is full you'll most likely get kicked for idling.

There is a spectator bot that allows you to spectate the game by connecting to it, but our server doesn't have it running at the moment (SourceTV). With the new patches we may be able to set up Source TV again if it doesn't cause problems.

Yeah, that would be good, cus sometimes I just feel like watching...
