While playing on the custom maps server quite a lot of the time (mainly on Pyro Tennis) I get a fair few request to organize a Heavy Boxing game. This gave me an idea for a quick map idea which I have been working on for the last couple of days, partially as a map and partially to learn mapping (never tried it before).
It is pretty basic, floor, spawns and then a sort of boxing ring (had to make do with what I had). You get the idea. Pictures:
Some of the nice features I have got working for this map:
- The floor automatically respawns health and ammo
- All classes but heavy are disabled
-Nearly working: The edge of the ring (not the top) causes damage
I still need to do some stuff to make it look better (it is very basic at the moment) but you can get the idea from what is done.
What are your thoughts on it?
Also I know the skybox is a bit messed up, need to work on it.
